Profile

Dr. Priyanka Srivastava has done her doctoral thesis (PhD) entitled “Impact of Nanomaterials on Caenorhabditis elegans, an Environmentally Relevant Alternate Animal Model” from a renowned institute CSIR-INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TOXICOLOGY RESEARCH (CSIR-IITR), LUCKNOW and was registered at biochemistry Department, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi. Dr Srivastava, single handed developed the culture facility of Caenorhabditis elegans for the first time at CSIR-IITR, LUCKNOW. Dr. Priyanka has the experience of working both in vitro and in vivo models. Her research finding are published in peer-reviewed international journals of high impact factor.

After Doctoral thesis, Dr Srivastava qualified for SERB-NATIONAL POST DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP (N-PDF) and joined department of biochemistry, AIIMS, New DELHI where she explored new biomarkers for colorectal cancer. Further, Dr Priyanka Srivastava was selected for the JAMIA HANDARD SILVER JUBILEE POST DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP and joined toxicology department, Jamia Hamdard, where she worked on transgenic strains of Caenorhabditis elegans. Dr.Priyanka Srivastava is well versed with different molecular biology techniques. She even done the electron microscopy for nanoparticle studies
